Michael Humphries has spoken at the club before about the British Naval Surgeon in China around the 1850's. He is back again to talk about more specifically about sleep.
We spend nearly one third of our lives asleep, which adds up to about 25 years for an average life expectancy. Yet much of sleep remains a mystery and so many people sleep badly. In this talk, Michael will unravel some of the mysteries of sleep and examine some recent medical advances. He will stress why a good sleep is so important for healthy living and offer some tips on how to improve quality of sleep, which in turn will make your waking hours so much more productive and enjoyable.
